Jazz in the Garden – Final Weekend
Things to do the weekend, Kick back and and feel your groove to the music with your favorite drink in hand at “Jazz in the Garden” this Friday! As mentioned above this is the final Jazz concert of this summer, it will be held in the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden. You will be able to enjoy an amazing Jazz soundtrack with one of the city’s most scenic scenes with all of the sculptures around the garden’s central fountain.

Zion y Lennox
Reggae nation comes to Washington DC’s  Echostage this will absolutely have the air filled with good vibes! Zion y Lennox have been writing and releasing music together since early 2004, also each artist individually has released many solo albums as well. This Puerto Rican duo has gained a very large and rabid following, they are expected to draw thousands for what is promised to be a wonderful concert.

Friday Night Concert Series at Yards Park – Final Weekend
What could be better than Food, Great Local Brews? That’s right add in live music, that does make everything better! This is the last free Yards Park Friday Night Concert on the Capitol Riverfront for the year! There is always enough green space for everyone, so bring your whole family to come to enjoy some of the scenery and sounds while stretching out.

Comcast Xfinity Outdoor Film Festival
This is a four-day celebration of movies from Thursday to Sunday. This festival is set to benefit the National Institutes of Health Children’s Charities. The Outdoor Film Festival is set in the scenic and breathe taking Strathmore Campus, this location is the perfect setting for you to enjoy an evening of films, we suggest that you bring all of your friends and the family together to watch Coco, Black Panther, The Lion King (Saturday night’s screening) or Wonder Woman.

17th Street Festival
17th Street Festival has a lot to do and see. Live music (always one of our favorite things to do!) will be throughout the event, providing you with a wonderful backdrop of music as you take in the all of the scenes. This festival boasts about 100 vendors, including artists displaying fine art, crafts, woodworking, and finally jewelry. Once of the great things about this event is that there is a kid’s zone, where our precious little bundles of joy can enjoy face painting, games, a bounce, and a ball crawl.
